I majored in Art Direction for Advertising at Miami Ad School, as well as attended the prestigious Industrial Design program at Art Center in Pasadena, California. After interning for famed advertising agencies such as Leo Burnette and Young and Rubicam, I went on to design at ad agency Bridger Conway, where I further mastered Commercial Graphic Desgin and Branding.
I balanced my day job with personal creative work, like to draw and paint, and have published on different blogs thought the years, some combining content from magazines like Time and newspapers like The Miami Herald. This allowed me to work on many cool projects, from emerging brands to current events.
My creative approach—no matter the medium—is to find passion behind the idea I’ve been assigned or am interested in. I do several iterations on each point and usually end up refining the one that makes me feel the most. The proper feeling depends on the project I'm working on.
For me, passion isn’t just about strong feelings, but rather, a way to arrest your audience. It’s a way to plant a little bit of desire in their hearts; a yearning to turn the page and learn more about your idea. Ultimately, it’s about creating memorable images.
